A program of the German Budestag that funds scholarships outside Albania
is focusing on the need of our country for high educated people.

The Parliament Speaker, Jozefina Topalli, and the German Ambassador, Karolan Muller Holtkemper, underlined the need of having qualified persons contributing in western schools for helping with the country’s progress.

By noting that a considerable number of these young people who have studied abroad have now become part of the Albanian administration, Mrs. Topalli answered to the question she posed to this category of students: “Is it worthy returning in Albania?”

“Yes, because our country needs the contribution of everyone and the final and unavoidable destination is the EU membership”, Topalli declared.

The German Ambassador, Karola Muller Holtkemper valued the Bundestag program as a means for reinforcing the democratic values.

Same as the Parliament Speaker, the Ambassador expressed her conviction that it is worthy returning to Albania and become part of the changes, the economic success and the country’s approach to the EU structures.
