The government has planned another Normative Act that changes for the
second time within two months, but this time with an increase.
Top Channel has learned that a normative act will spread 4.9 billion ALL of revenues, 4 billion of which come from the tax and customs office surplus for the October-December period, while the rest from the debt interest. But how will these funds be used?
Sources from the Ministry of Finances say that 1.9 billion ALL will be used to cover the December payment for the disabled people. They have been the most suffering category by the power rotation, staying for months without their pensions, their only survival means. This turned into a political issue too, when the democrats in the opposition and the new Socialist government accused each other.
The Ministry of Social Welfare declared that the former government spent the entire fund during the electoral campaign, but the Democratic Party declared that they left 40 million USD in the budget for the economic assistance. Besides the 1.9 billion ALL for these categories, the Normative Act distributed 3 billion ALL or 30 million USD for the infrastructure, mainly to pay the roads that have been built during this year. Two months ago, the government corrected the budget plan made by the former government with a total of 38.7 billion ALL.
