The British Prime Minister, Theresa May, in an effort to show UK’s
interest for Balkan, congratulated Serbian President Alexandar Vucic for
his victory, and added that they expect him to normalize the relations
with Kosovo.
“Serbial plays a key role for securing stability in the region. I hope that during your presidential mandate, you will keep progressing in your dialogue with Prishtina, and that you will standardize these relations, which are extremely important for peace”, Serbian media quote May.
The European Commission and other member countries have not given their final judgment for the Serbian presidential elections, since they are still waiting for the OSCE report. However, Deutsche Welle has reported that the pre-electoral campaign had problems, since Vucic had dominated all media outlets.
