Bribed vehicle inspection inspectors jailed

None of the nine persons that were arrested at the Durres Vehicle Technical Inspection directory has admitted the charges.

They were arrested for receiving bribes in exchange of passing vehicles to the technical inspection, although they didn’t fulfill the conditions.

During this investigation that is based on the phone records of the 20 year old technical agent Idriz Hoxha, the police have discovered another illegal activity, that of illegal prostitution.

The Durres Court started the trial for giving the security measures against the technical inspectors, the administrator of the computer system at the Regional Directory of Traffic Transport and five insurance agents.

The charges are passive corruption and forgery of official documents.

The court decided to leave them in prison until trial.
