The Minister of Integration, Majlinda Bregu, accued the Socialist Party
leader, Edi Rama, of blocking the candidate status by not voting the
three laws required by Brussels.
Bregu reminded how 200 days ago the European Union declared that Albania was one step away from receiving this status, with the only condition to vote the three laws.
“In 200 days, Rama’s only commitment was to block these three laws together with the European aspiration of all Albanians. In every Parliamentary session held during these 200 days, Rama has rejected and said “no” to the constant request of the majority to vote the three laws”, Bregu declared.
According to Bregu, the Albanians have at least 200 reasons to not vote Edi Rama, who keeps blocking the status each day.
“Every lie about an European policy is a senseless alibi and often contradictory. It is one more reason for the Albanians to not vote Edi Rama”, Bregu declared, listing the consequences that according to her this blockage has caused to the Albanians.
“For 200 days, together with the status, Edi Rama has denied to the Albanian citizens dozens of millions of EUR from the European Union fund”, declared the Ministry of Integration.
He keeps denying to the Albanians dozens of thousands of new jobs that are related with the country’s European Union integration. He keeps denying studying and career opportunities to the young people”, Bregu declared.
