The Head of the Parliamentary Commission of Security, Spartak Braho,
sent a letter to the President, the Parliament Speaker, the Prime
Minister, the General Chief of Police and the Secret Service Director,
in which he warns of political destabilization.

Sources say for Top Channel that the MP of the SMI accuses the former Minister of Energy, Dritan Prifti, and the Socialist former MP, Tom Doshi, of being part of a plot against the SMI leader and Parliament Speaker, Ilir Meta.

He says they have threatened the wife of Kastriot Ismailaj, so that the latter can testify at the trial against Ilir Meta. The meeting, according to him, took place in a luxury Tirana hotel and Ismailaj’s wife was threatened by Doshi.

Braho claims that Prifti and Doshi are making this pressure under the directives of the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha. He asked the Prosecution and authorities to take Ismailaj’s family under protection.

When contacted by Top Channel, Doshi said he met with Ismailaj’s wife as an MP, with her request, while Prifti says he doesn’t know Ismailaj and that he loves the country more than Ilir Meta, hence, he wouldn’t want any destabilization.

Prifti says he would say the ruth in any investigation for CEZ and DIA, especially when the country is being robbed of 130 million EUR.
