Brace: Violating Constitution, new trend

He refers to the case of the Bank of Albania official, calling him the “new sport of this autumn”.

“Every state official is becoming God, from members of the Bank of Albania Supervisory Council to the Albanian President. They are making it public with arrogance. Petraq Milo, member of the Bank’s Supervisory Council, was appointed against the law, stayed on that post for the past three years against the law. I even have a video of the gentleman entering in the electoral conference of the Democratic Party in Mallakastra, as delegate of the DP on the first week of July, and two weeks before the hsitoric bank theft video was published”, brace declared.

He says that what is happening today is the culmination of arrogance from this Man.

“He was number 144 in the list of members at the National Council of the Democratic Party. It is forbidden by law to do this, but no one acts, otherwise the independence of the Bank will be touched. This is crazy”, Brace says.

He adds that with the President is happening something even worse.

“I heard the president regarding the appointing of the new Bank of Albania Governor, who said that he could be from outside the Supervisory Council f the Bank. He wanted to appoint him himself and them immediately make him a member of the Supervisory Council, while the law says that the Supervisory Council has nine members, five proposed by the Parliament, three by the government, and one by the Supervisory Council itself”, Brace declared.

“There is no law saying that the President can propose a member of the Supervisory Council”, Brace declared.
