One day after the declarations released by the Democratic Party leader,
Lulzim Basha, the Chairman of the Parliamentary Commission of Economy,
Erjon Brace, accused the opposition leader of publicly lying to the
Albanian citizens just to defend the former Democratic Party Ministers.
“It is not true that his government has left a 15 billion space for loans. The space is 6.5 billion ALL”, Brace declared
Brace added that the Democrats not only did not leave 15 billion ALL of deficit space, as Basha says, but they have actually crossed the annual debt limit, by violating the law in this way.
“Keeping in mind the fact that they have 9 billion ALL of unpaid bills, HE should have told to the Albanian people that the Berisha government has crossed the limit set by law for the budget 2013. Every bill that is paid by the State Treasury, is paid in illegal conditions”, Brace declared.
According to Brace, this situation was created by the dramatic drop of revenues, when the country was being ruled by the Democrats. According to him, they are hiding behind this a giant robbery scheme with the VAT reimbursement.
“The VAT money are not missing only because of the crisis and bureaucracy, but also due to a criminal scheme with fictive companies, for which all lawmaking companies should operate and avoid a robbery in this system”, Brace underlines.
