“Boys of Gjirokaster” forum protested against a banner in one Museum of
the city, which illustrates the events of 1914 and the creation of the
Autonomous government of Northern Epirus.
Genti Labi, representative of this forum, said that members of his family were victims of the Greek genocide.
The Forum placed a picture of the Laberia Group fighters above the banner.
“In 1914, this gang burned all southern Albania, starting from Korca, Permet, Gjirokastra, Delvina, Himara, Kolonja and Kurvelesh. I am here to bring the Group of Gjirokaster and Laberia fighters”, Gent Labi said.
The Forum want the museum to be conceived on Albanian history sources.
