Border with Greece closed for vehicles, only pedestrians allowed for 24 hours

The Greek border checkpoints with Albania in Kakavija and Kapshtica will be closed for vehicles. Only pedestrians will be allowed for 24 hours.

The Gjirokaster Police say that the reason for this is a strike that is being organized by the Greek Customs.

Police has appealed citizens for their understanding, and advises those who planned to travel today to wait for another 24 hours.
