Border demarcation with Montenegro, LDK: “Our agreement was altered”

Members of the Foreign Affairs Commission at the Parliament of Kosovo voted to change the draft law for the border demarcation agreement with Montenegro.

The amended draft includes the agreement reached in August 2015 between Kosovo and Montenegro, between Presidents Hashim Thaci and Filip Vujanovic, and the material of the state commissioners for orientation.

But the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo says that the commission has altered the agreement reached between the Kosovo political parties, AAK, PDK, LDK and Nisma.

The Chairwoman of this Commission, Vjosa Osmani, rejected these accusations. She said that the amendment approved at the Commission is identical to the one proposed in parliament.

This Friday, the Alliance for the Future of Kosovo has accused the Democratic League of Kosovo of changing the agreement between parties for the demarcation draft-law.

The parliament of Kosovo has failed to ratify the agreement for the third time, although it received votes in Prishtina, during the visit of three EU high-level officials.
