Bojaxhi: Social homes blocked for two years

Gjergj Bojaxhi, the independent candidate for Tirana, spoke about the
homeless issue. He reported the blockage of the social apartments that
were completed wto years ago and that are already being damaged.
“We have 12 million EUR of investments from our public taxes, and 385 apartments for the homeless that are currently blocked. Tirana has thousands of homeless people. Why is this happening? Because all our political parties know is political theater, rather than serving to the citizens”, declared Bojaxhi, the independent candidate for Tirana.
He says that there are more than 1500 files reported by the families in need since 2010, and they were blocked by the Democratic Party so that they could be distributed by Mayor Basha. Now they are being blocked by the Socialists, so that they can distribute it with their Mayor, in case he wins the elections, according to Bojaxhi.
“This must come to an end. These homes should be distributed to the homeless”, Bojaxhi declared.
