Flamur Sela, head of the Drenova commune, and the priest of Saint Mary Church, Father Jani Trebicka, did not appear today at the trial for the violation of Boboshtica graves.
With the prosecution demand, both persons were called as witnesses to shed light on the construction built upon the village’s cemetery.
The two witnesses of the prosecution did not appear on trial and did not present a reason for their absence, even though they were notified for the trial date.
This made the court ask the police to bring by force the head of the commune and the priest of the church, under the territory if which lies the cemetery.
This trial expected the appearance of both witnesses, one as the representative of the local administration, and the other as representative of the Orthodox Church.
