Blushi: “SP, hostage of a minority that is imposing itself to the majority”

MP Ben Blushi criticized the leadership of the Socialist Party, accusing
them of creating a monopoly that allows them to impose themselves to a
majority of this party. Rama had declared that those who are against his
leadership are a small minority in the party, and Blushi said that he
speaks on behalf of a majority that does exist, also it stops itself
from reacting. “We will allow this majority to speak up and have a free
vote”, Blushi declared.

Blushi asked his colleagues if they want to be equal or if they want someone to have more power than the others. He said that there is only a minority that considers him an enemy of the SP just because he is requesting elections, more jobs, higher wages, fewer members related to crime. “This is the moral, the criterion, the honor and the mystery of this party. I will never accept this. The humiliation of the SP has not come from the lack of time or of the number of socialists, but of the arrogance and trust that every road in the SP takes you to one single person who must have every vote, Edi Rama”, Bushi declared.

“It is a fact that the SP has not held elections for the past three years, that Rama is the only leader in Europe who has held a party for seven years, that the SP has not kept its promises. These are facts, not opinions”, Blushi said.

Elections, according to Blushi, are the only thing that is needed.

MP Mimoza Hafizi said at the Socialist Party Congress that their branch in Shkoder is being led by adventurers who are facing today the courts of justice.

She underlined that this situation has motivated her to act for a better party.

The head of the Committee for Statutory Guarantees at the SP, Alket Hyseni, defended the work done by the structure he leads.

“We have reviewed a big number of requests from all branches of the SP. CSG has taken right statutory decisions through a good cooperation”, Hyseni said.

MP Pandeli Majko declared that the issue of Albanians outside the country is experiencing changes, and the region is creating an opinion that needs an answer.

As for the actuality in our country, he said that the vote and justice are two priorities that cannot be avoided. “The Justice Reform is the solution for Albania, the main challenge of which is corruption”, Majko said.

MP Arta Dade underlined the culture of impunity, which, according to her, is not part of the SP program.

“We were unable to take Sali Berisha to prison. We must start the challenge of democracy within ourselves and give the necessary mandate to the leader that has been voted.
