The Socialist MP, Ben Blushi, accused the Parliament of now showing interest for the public, while he accused the government of being incompetent. Blushi accused them of the serious accident that took place one week ago in Golem, where two children died.

“The government was guided to defend the private interest. They were rewarding a private fuel station. Which one did the government defend? The private fuel station! And the father of this family ended up in prison because he had built a roof for his family. He had been in prison for the past six months and his daughters were going to visit him. Who is the government defending now?”, Blushi said.

He also referred to the recent news about the drug traffic in Saranda, and said that the person involved was still employed.

The Minister of Interior, Saimir Tahiri, told the opposition to decide if they want to pass the reform or not.

The Minister said that the requests of the Democratic Part so far have been pretexts to not vote the justice reform. “The opposition is throwing mud against the police and its work”, he said.

Former PM, Sali Berisha, said that the Rama government is the biggest criminal gang in the country, the entire region and even further. He blamed PM Rama for the drug gang that was destroyed a few days ago by the Greek Police.

“This is the example of the biggest criminal organization in our planet, but the Albanian people will be liberated”, Berisha said, and also accused former MP, Koco Kokedhima, of having ties with Klemend Balilaj, considered by the Greek Police as the drug baron.

PM Edi Rama said the opposition is still avoiding the justice reform, and asked them to pass it as soon as possible, since Albania deserves to start the accession negotiations this year.

As for the news about the drug bust, Rama said that the attacks from the DP are unscrupulous.
