Residents in Selite, Tirana, blocked the roads by burning tires in
protest against blackouts. Revolted residents declared that CEZ have not
found a solution to their problem.

Police appealed the residents to liberate the circulation. MP Eglantina Gjermeni declared that this is no political protest, because this problem has affected right and left wing voters, but a social problem that requires a solution.

Yesterday the Lapraka residents protested after being for two days in full darkness. They blocked the road and burned rubbish bins in protest. The situation became chaotic, after many vehicles were blocked in traffic, until police intervened to free the road.

Thousands of Tirana citizens have remained without electricity after a construction company hired by the Municipality to repair canalizations has cut electric cables in Lapraka. CEZ announced that the problem will continue, since the problem is not easy to be solved.
