Despite the declarations of Albanian and Greek politicians regarding the
suspended matters between the two countries, technical cooperation
continues normally, especially for building the cemetery of Greek
soldiers killed in Albanian territory during WWII.
Bilateral commissions met in Athens to hold technical discussions about the obstacles regarding the matter. Experts discussed details about identifying the remains of the soldiers and other issues for the matter in question.
The Albanian Commission was led by Dede Prenga, General and commander of the Doctrine and Training of the Armed Forces. The next meeting is agreed to be held in Tirana within six months.
