One day after the Prosecution of Tirana opened an investigation for Denar Biba, the Vice Chairman of the Central Election Commission, who was heard on an audio registration, talking to an Albanian judge in Strasbourg and asking him to help Albania with the property cases, Biba himself gives more details about the conversation.
He says that he met with Ledio Bianku as a friend, not as an official and that he talked about the cases of Albanian property owners. Biba admits that he asked Bianku to help the Albanian government if it was within his powers.
Biba ads that Bianku did not consider the conversation as inadequate, but instead he went to the President of the Strasbourg Court and complained about him.
Biba says he is more surprised to the fact that a conversation between friends was actually recorded.
