The Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, met today with the leader of the Social-Democratic Party of Germany, Andrea Nahles, to discuss Albania’s EU integration process.
The Prime Minister updated Mrs.Nahles with the reforms undertaken by the Albanian government, and about the expectation for a positive recommendation from the EU member countries.
Mrs.Nahles guaranteed Rama for the unconditioned support of the German Social-Democratic Party for opening the negotiations between Albania and the EU. She also congratulated Rama for the reforms undertaken by the Albanian government, and expressed her optimism for the EC’s decision this June.
The Prime Minister also met with the vice leader of the CDU parliamentary group at the German Parliament.
