Prime Minister Sali Berisha thanked the citizens, the commissioners, the
observers and the media for the election performance, and declared that
the Alliance for the Citizen and the Democratic Party will recognize
any result.
According to the Head of the Government, with the counting process starts the most difficult part of these elections, and that he hopes that everything will keep going smoothly.
“I wish that our opponent has the same readiness to detach once and for all from the policy of prolonged anxiety and to decide as a man to recognize any result of this normal election process”, Berisha declared.
About the exit polls that were published in the recent hours, Sali Berisha underlined that he trusts only the vote count and the official result.
“I trust ‘Facebook’ and the difference between the candidates Rama and Basha is very deep. However, I will wait for every vote to be counted, to give an official stance”, Berisha declared.
