On the last day of the electoral campaign, the Albanian Prime Minister,
Sali Berisha, visited the city of Vlore where he inaugurated the water
cleaning implant that places Vlore in the map of areas with a clean
seaside. He asked the citizens of Vlore to join with the future on the
June 23rd elections, not with the past.
“I make a friendly appeal to the Vlore citizens, the Vlore residents, to vote for the Democratic Party because they deserve a good fate, and this is the number of good fate. The Albanains know this. They are wise and there’s no reason for them to touch the number of jinx, number 29”, Berisha declared.
From Vlore Berisha went to Fier, the second biggest district in Albania. Berisha asked the vote of the Mallakastra citizens in Ballsh, so that development can continue.
“We are increasing wages and pensions; we are enlarging businesses and farms. We are on the right track and we will continue it together”, Berisha declared.
According to the Prime Minister, the Albanian youth will reject Edi Rama who threatens to close universities. He declared that the Albanians will reject the alternative of nothing, by chosing welfare.
“I invite you to think for a moment. In three months of campaign, your leader did not mention and increase of wages, pensions or economic assistance. What did he promise for your farms? He promised to remove VAT, so that it can be taken by merchants and not you. We promise to return VAT in cash for you, to return excise in cash and triple the grants so that your farms can flourish”, Berisha declared.
The Albanian Prime Minister compared himself with Edi Rama, asking the vote of the Albanian citizens for a new mandate.
“Sali Berisha wants your vote, not for his post, but to continue our projects together and walk together on the development road. Let’s walk together on the integration road, because we have proved that we have progress. Our ‘comrade’ on the bus has not promised anything, besides his post. We are the future and he is the past”, Berisha declared.
