From the DP headquarters, the former Prime Minister, Sali Berisha,
considered the candidate status a new passport of trust that makes
Albania more credible not only for the EU, but for the entire world.
Berisha blamed his adversary, Edi Rama, for the delays of the status.
“This decision was delayed after he blocked the three laws in December 2012, March 2013 and certainly, in March 2013, although Albania had made a democratic power rotation and everything had been welcomed universally, the status was not given”, Berisha declared.
As for the declarations of Edi Rama one day ago, for frontal attack to the corrupted people of the judiciary, Berisha declared that this is a primitive revenge, but he agreed that there is an extended corruption in justice.
“Corrupted judges need to be punished with the force of the law. There are corrupted politicians and crime has reached the highest levels of politics”, Berisha declared.
