The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, was photographed today while
returning in his Prime Minister’s office for the first time after the
June 23rd elections.
Accompanied by his bodyguards, Berisha visited the Hungarian embassy where he expressed his condolences for the passing away of the Hungarian former Prime Minister. Then Berisha went to the government office, and the cabinet meeting will be held tomorrow at 11:00. Yesterday Berisha visited the Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, together with the Mayor of Tirana.
There’s no information about what they discussed during this meeting.
There are voices saying that Berisha is preparing his resignation from the Democratic Party, and the visit with Basha to the Albanian President, Bujar Nishani, has been interpreted as a way to leave his political heritage to Basha.
