Berisha: Reassessing contested votes guards system

Prime Minister Sali Berisha declared that the Democratic Party asked the
reassessment of contested votes for the purpose of guarding the system.
“We asked these ballots to be reassessed because our actual system’s main pillar is the right to oppose. This system does not allow anyone to touch a single ballot”, Berisha declared in the Democratic Party Parliamentary Group meeting.
The Prime Minister emphasized that the decision for counting contested ballots is vital, because he and the political force he leads have no idea to whom these contested ballots belong to.
“Our greatest commitment is that Albania should be the real winner of these elections”, Berisha declared.
During his speech, the Prime Minister emphasized the new governmental project for increasing wages and pensions, adding that this measure is the main stream of the new program.
