The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, inaugurated the works at the
Gostima-Gjyrale-Belsh axis in Elbasan, underlining that the
infrastructure construction will improve the citizens’ life.
Berisha attacked the opposition leader, Edi Rama, regarding his promise for removing VAT on basic food products.
“Rama promised a very dangerous thing, to remove VAT for wheat, milk, eggs, oil and flour, but this will damage the domestic product, because farmers’ work will be in vain, since the imported goods will destroy their production. There is no politician in Europe that wants to damage Rama the domestic production like Rama”, Berisha declared.
