Berisha: Rama without projects

The Inauguration of Belsh-Fierza-Kosovo road, 18 km long and with a value of 353 million leks, was an occasion for Prime Minister Berisha to accuse his adversary, Edi Rama, of having no projects to offer in these elections.

The Prime Minister accused Mr. Rama of having few infrastructure projects in the capital, even though during the recent four years, the central government has financed the Tirana Municipality, according to the Prime Minister, three times more than the socialist governments.

“Have you ever heard him offering a single project to his citizens? You know that we inaugurated today a road which is more than 18 kilometers long, with its two segments. In four years, he has paved only 12 km of Tirana’s alleys, even though during these four years he has had more funds than ever. In the last mandate, he has been financed by the central government three times more than the socialist central governments. But normally, when you have nothing to offer to the citizens, when you do not have a project, all you can promise is ‘it is Berisha’s fault’”, Berisha said.

The Prime Minister didn’t spare his irony on the opposition’s leader jokes and invited the citizens to vote for the “Alliance for the Citizen” coalition.

“Let us give him the possibility to tell Shalsi’s new joke each day. We must work and go forward with these elections. Vote the candidates of this alliance and I promise that I will support every project of yours”, Berisha emphasized.

According to the official press release, the road that has been inaugurated by the Prime Minister in Dumre connects eight residential areas: the Belsh town with the villages Çepe, Hardhishte, Fierza, Cërraga, Kosova e Madhe, Kosova e Vogël and the village Jeta e Re.
