The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, visited the biggest
plantation of pomegranates that was recently built by a government
grant. According to Berisha, the grants in the next four years will be
three times larger, reaching 150 million USD, and farmers will be
reimbursed in cash for gas, chemicals and seeds.
Berisha says that the goal is to give farmers the opportunity to increase the production and welfare in Albania, despite the Socialist Party efforts to deny every achievement and connect this government only to poverty.
“You (To Rama) must come to Zadrima and see who is voting for us. These people work, but they are not poor. And if we are voted by the poor, it would be a great honor for us, because in us they see the hope that their situation will get better”, Berisha added.
One of the biggest changes, according to Berisha, is the building of infrastructure, because he believes that without roads there is no development, and these new roads that were built, together with the other government reforms, are one of the reasons why Albania didn’t fall into crisis and received more foreign investments than ever.
By inaugurating a rural road in Lezhe, the Prime Minister declared that the Democratic Party goes certain to the June 23rd elections, not only because they made big changes to the country during these years, but because they offer the best vision for development.
“Our vision for a developed Albania, the massive employment, the vision of increasing the incomes of Albania, is a very difficult path, but it is the best one that guarantees success”, Berisha declared.
The The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, invited the people to support the Democratic Party on the June 23rd elections, reiterating that the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, is a hypocrite for not accepting the government’s offer to enable online voting for immigrants.
“You don’t accept this because your greatest fear is vote. I cannot cure this fear of yours. You’re living 100 years behind, Mr.Rama. The June 23rd elections are coming and we are the change”, Berisha declared.
During his visit in Lezhe, the Prime Minister inaugurated a new school in Gjader, where he promised to increase the wage of teachers to 700 USD and rebuild all schools during the next mandate.
