Prime Minister Sali Berisha presented the Democratic Party’s candidate for Vlore, Ardian Kollozi, asking Vlore’s citizens vote for his support. Berisha declared that the majority asks the Vlore’s vote because during the last four years, the government has invested 400 millions of Euros.
Although the Prime Minister declared that he will not be “losing his time with” his political adversary, he attacked Edi Rama calling him “a loser in every battle”.
“Vlore comes first. We are here today because we transformed Ismail Qemali’s Vlore into the Vlore of NATO. We are here because we have transformed Albanian Flag’s Vlore into the city of the people who can travel all over Europe. We are here today to present our candidate, the well known son of Vlore. We made Vlore’s name well known all over the world, because during this year only, this city has welcomed more tourists than all times put together. We present Adrian Kollozi because we have invested in roads, schools, canalizations, aqueducts, viticulture, olive groves, 400 million Euros of investments, more than ever before”, Berisha said.
“We present Adrian Kollozi because we want to prepare Vlore for the 100th anniversary of the Albanian Independence; Vlore of the Albanian flag, the capital of all Albanians. I am here today to guarantee that every project of your next Mayor will be supported by the government”, Berisha added.
“Let us tell Mr. Rama that your ‘only way’ is the way of your chair, the way of no return, the way that leads to nowhere. Your way is the way of conflict, project-blocking. Ours is the way of understanding and development. Tirana’s Mayor for the past four years has not been Rama, but Berisha. We must tell this gentleman that the main feature that distincts the civilized man is civic responsibility. This is why I guarantee you Mr. Rama that I will not be losing my time with you. You are the only politician who hasn’t won one single political battle. I want to express my esteem to the socialists, but I want to remind you that your leader shouts all day about political battles. He has lost and will lose every single battle. Rama did not come by himself on the top of the Socialist Party. He was brought by Fatos Nano and Sali Berisha. Show yourself on the electoral tribunes all over the country! You get on those tribunes for the chair, I get on the tribunes for the citizen’s interest”, Berisha emphasized.
Meanwhile, Democratic Party Candidate Kollozi said that he will stop the city’s filling with concrete and its transfiguration by the high buildings.
“We will return the real face of the Flag’s Square”, Kollozi emphasized.
