Berisha on corruption with the incinerators: The wanted Zoto was administrator of Ahmetaj’s company

Head of the opposition PD, Sali Berisha for the first time today raised the concern that the SPAK special prosecutor’s office is conducting selective investigations by not investigating the former deputy Prime Minister Arben Ahmetaj for the hotel bills paid by the man wanted for the major affair of the incinerators, Klodian Zoto.

In the last two sessions of the parliament, Berisha mentioned only once the name of Arben Ahmetaj, focusing the verbal attack on the incinerators on Prime Minister Edi Rama.

“The prosecutor’s office is directly implicated in this affair and this is proven by keeping hidden the invoices of one of the main bosses of the incinerators affair, the invoices of Arben Ahmetaj, who says he does not know Klodian Zoto, despite the fact that

he was in the car with him, when it overturned, and he claims that the trauma made him lose his memory and now he no longer remembers how he got to know Klodian Zoto”, said Sali Berisha.

He also spoke about Arben Ahmetaj’s previous connections with Klodian Zoto.

“Klodian Zoto was manager of the Hermes company, the company with which Ahmetaj stole 13 billion telephone impulses from Albtelekom, to the amount of 13 million euros.

This was manager Klodian Zoto, whom the trauma has erased from his memory. If there is an indivisible, absolute binomial in the affair, it is Rama-Agaçi, Ahmetaj-Zoto, because such are their actions. All this proves that the prosecution has been drugged with the money of the burners, which ultimately makes the process of a transparent investigation hopeless”, added Berisha.

Berisha promised that this issue will be a major object of the “democratic revolution” and justice for the triumph of the PD opposition.
