In the government residence in Vlore, where the President of Kosovo is
staying for her holidays, she met with the Albanian Prime Minsiter Sali
Berisha.
Berisha expressed his pleasure for meeting the President of Kosovo, Atifete Jahjaga, and praised her role in the consolidation of the Republic of Kosovo as a factor of peace and stability in Balkan.
Prime Minister Berisha underlined that Kosovo’s progress and the functioning of the rule of law have made Kosovo to turn into an important cooperation and understanding factor in the regional integration.
President Jahjaga thanked Prime Minister Berisha for his support to the Republic of Kosovo. In this meeting they discussed about the cooperation between Kosovo and Albania in many fields and for the joint efforts for further independence recognitions and consolidation of Kosovo’s international position.
