Berisha: June 23rd, manipulated

Berisha writes that the 1250 votes that resulted manipulated with “violence, drugs, drug money and terror, are the symbol of the June 23rd elections”.

“Edi Rama admitted today that he has stolen 1250 votes in Lezhe. He withdrew the request presented at the court for repeating the elections in Lezhe, after it was found that in 14 ballot boxes of this district he had stolen through violence, terror and drug money 1250 votes and naturally, with the new elections he was indirectly apologizing to the Lezhe citizens”, Berisha declared.

The Prime Minister declared that Lezhe would open way to the revote in other districts too, such as Shkoder, where according to Berisha 700 votes have been stolen.

“He withdrew only because repeating the elcetions would mean being punished by the Lezhe citizens for the stolen vote of the June 23rd elections, and would make way for repeating the elections in other cities, such as Shkoder, where they have stolen 700 votes”, Berisha declared.

The former Democratic Party leader declared that regardless from this decision of the Socialist Party, the June 23rd elections is completely manipulated.

“Regardless of this withdrawal, the results of the June 23rd elections remain manipulated. It is vital for the stability of our country to complete a full investigation and transparency there were crime and dirty money are used”, Berisha declared.

“Rama withdrew, must apologize”

After the Socialist Party decided to withdraw from the request for repeating the elections in Lezhe, the Democratic Party declared that Edi Rama should apologize for stealing one mandate in this district.

Oerd Bylykbashi declared that the Democratic Party will not stop looking for transparency for the June 23rd elections.

“After it was proved that the Socialist Party had stolen one mandate in Lezhe, Rama withdrew from the request for a revote in Lezhe. He must apologize to the Lezhe citizens and all Albanians for manipulating votes, and for threatening the Democratic Party representatives at the Central Election Commission, a bandit act that had never been seen before. Withdrawing from the Lezhe, after doing the same thing in Shkoder, shows that there is a lack of sincerity and malevolence from Edi Rama, who asked transparency for two years without having any vote, only to block Albania’s European Union integration. Today, with the robbery in broad daylight, he tried to cover it with the absurd claim that he is doing it for the country’s interest. The Democratic Party is more decided than ever to make full transparency about the June 23rd elections in Lezhe, Shkoder and everywhere else. This is our major obligation to freedom, dignity and the free vote of the Albanian citizens”, Bylykbashi declared.
