The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, visited Tirana, Mirdita and
Velipoja during this day and inaugurated public and private works. He
declared that his vital goal is improving the life of the Albanian
citizens and increase their employment rates.
In Tirana, for the reconstruction of the “Petro Nini Luarasi” boulevard, Prime Minister Berisha noted the changes in the city after Edi Rama left his post as Mayor of the Albanian capital.
“The truth is that the inventory of unpaved roads, squares and alleys is more than 250 kilometers, and we will build all of them within the next two years, no matter how much they cost”, Berisha declared.
The Prime Minister invited citizens to engage for a civilized campaign and vote the Democratic Party same as in 1992.
Fan Hydropower Plant construction officially started
The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, pressed the button that set off the inaugurating explosion on the site where three hydropower plants will be built in Fan, Mirdita and Puka. A Turkish company is investing 146 million USD and will employ 950 people, but the Prime Minister declared that the most important thing, besides employment, is that these three hydropower plants are part of the project that will turn Albania into a developed country and a significant exporter of electric power.
“This is the best and wisest way towards development. We are serious in our project, and through facts and hard work we are proving how we will employ the Albanian citizens”, Berisha declared.
According to the Prime Minister, the three hydropower plants given in concession will employ 30.000 citizens in the next four years. He added that this development cannot be interrupted by the threatening alternative of the Socialist Party, which is promising to establish an office that will review all concessions.
“This is for the Don Quixote who threatens to cancel concessions, who tries to hamper development and to block employment”, Berisha underlined.
The Prime Minister then traveled to Velipoja, where he asked the Shkoder citizens for a third mandate, promising to connect all Adriatic beaches with new roads that will develop tourism.
Berisha invited the Albanian citizens to use their vote to reject the Socialist Party leader, Edi Rama, who, he said, has become ridiculous by denying everything that has been achieved so far.
“We don’t speak empty words, but acts. I invite you to reject every denial that has been made to your hard work, and to reject every offense. Forward, towards victory”, Berisha declared.
