Berisha in the summit for Balkan

During his visit in USA, the Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha,
participated in the ceremony that the US President, Barack Obama,
prepared in honor of the world leaders and governments that participated
in the 66th session of the UN General Assembly.

The Prime Minister’s press office says that Berisha attended a meeting with the US President, Barack Obama.

Berisha used this meeting for inviting the US President in Albania, an invitation that he accepted with pleasure.

Berisha also attended the Summit of the Balkan Leaders, with the topic “A vision for a common future”, where were also present the Turkish PM, Recep Tayyip Erdogan, the Kosovo PM, Hashim Thaci, the Macedonian PM, Nikola Gruevski, and the Montenegrin PM, Igor Luksic.

This yearly summit aims to promote the heritage of the Balkan tolerance and understanding between political and religious leaders; between the businessmen, journalists and artists; and also for the creation of an ethnic, religious and linguistic cooperation in the region, for setting common goals and ideals.

The Prime Ministers focused on the economy, the investments and regional cooperation. Prime Minister Berisha was concentrated on the significance of this meeting, and also made a short presentation of Albania’s economic growth, same as some days ago at the NASDAQ stock market and CNBC Channel.
