Berisha: Expanding Excellency Fund

The Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, was present in the ceremony
for the distribution of the Excellency Fund for 67 Albanian students who
have been accepted in 15 of the world’s best universities.
By encouraging the young students who benefited from the Excellency Fund for this year, the Prime Minister underlined that within 2013, the number acceptances will mount to 300.
Berisha encouraged all young students with excellent results to apply in the world’s best universities, because the government will support this fund without restraint.
The PM also declared that the goal for 2013 will be to increase the education quality and to expand the Excellency Fund with students from Kosovo, Macedonia and the Diaspora.
The head of the government also underlined that the Excellency Fund and the “Brain Gain” program must turn into the two powerful mechanisms for the consolidation of the western soft of the Albanian nation.
