The former Albanian Prime Minister, Sali Berisha, answered to the
accusations of PM Edi Rama, who said from Shkoder that the torturer of
Father Zef Pllumi and Sami Rrepushti was decorated because Sali Berisha
had given him the veteran status, and the Ministry of Defense
mechanically followed protocols.
The former PM, Sali Berisha, says that the law of veterans has is given to those who have been involved in a war and has nothing to do with decorations.
“I made the lustration law that excluded from public functions all former collaborators of the communist dictatorship. And Edi Rama was the wildest opponent of this law”, Berisha declared.
