The Prime Minister Sali Berisha announced Servet Duzha, the candidate of “Alliance for the Citizen” for Mayor of Cërrik, emphasizing that the government will support the future winner.
“With your taxes, the Mayor could help more than anyone else for making new businesses to thrive. The Mayor and the Municipality are the real administrators that could attract investments in cities and communes. I guarantee you that I will fully support Mr. Servet Duzha. With transparent and simple practices he would make available every square meter of this town”, Berisha said.
“In the next four years, the government will invest six times more than the past years. The government will support your first citizen, Mr. Servet Dusha, in his efforts to attract foreign investments”, he added.
Berisha declared that the citizens will give the right response to the only way that his political opponents offer.
“Beside our alternative, another alternative wanders through the country. This alternative has been for the Albanians for more than 30 years the alternative of poverty, misery, oppression and isolation. The Albanians will never embrace this alternative. We have been detached forever by the only way of their bitter past”, the Prime Minister said.
“I invite the citizens of all political convictions to leave Edi Rama alone on his road, because he will find on that road Ramiz Alia and Enver Hoxha. We are sworn to reject the past, to unite as citizens with our values and beliefs for the modern and developed Cerrik, for a modern and developed Albania”, he declared.
The head of the government appealed the party leaders for a civilized campaign and to avoid inappropriate vocabulary.
“I appeal the political parties to avoid inappropriate words, because they do not agree with civil morale. Let us avoid any provocation and let us do everything that this might be the most European campaign that Albania has ever experienced”, Berisha declared.
