While the government operated for two days from Berat, many citizens who were recently removed from the economic welfare scheme wanted to meet with the Prime Minister and ask why they were among those who were chosen.
However, Rama preferred to give explanations from a closed room, where none of the participants was on social welfare.
Rama admitted that the electronic system that had excluded these families from social welfare had its flaws, and that those removed unrightfully were brought back to the scheme.
But the Prime Minister insists that most of the citizens who were removed had been refusing jobs in the private sector, because they want to get employed to the public administration.
“Those who refuse jobs because they are allergic to this and that, they are allergic to work”, Rama said.
