The decision of the UEFA Committee of Discipline for the Serbia-Albania
football match made unhappy not only Albanians, but also Serbs, who
wanted three points on the table.

However, there are voices against who do not dare express their opinion openly.

The only one who expressed his opinion regarding the October 14th events was Dragan Djuric, President of Partizan, Belgrade. The 60-year-old shocked the Serbian public opinion when he declared that the Serbian authorities and the Serbian Football Federation are the first to be blamed about the violence against the Albanian players.

“The UEFA decision is unilateral, but the state authorities must explain why 100 drunk fans were allowed on the pitch, together with an ultras fan who four years ago appeared in the Genoa stadium. Someone wanted a bloodshed and the initiators are the same who started it at the Italian stadium”, Dragan Djuric underlined, referring to the troubles caused by Ivan Bogdanov after he burned the Albanian flag in the Italy-Serbia match in Genoa, Italy.

The Partizan President said that the Commissioner of Security at the Serbian Federation had warned state authorities that something might happen, but no one took any measures. He concludes his declaration with the question: “Who ordered the police to not be inside the stadium during the match?”

This is a strong declaration from the President of Partizan, who is now being attacked and even considered a traitor by critics.
