Serbia vows to not recognize the independence of Kosovo, to oppose the creation of the Kosovo Army and to support Serbs in Prishtina’s temporary institutions.
These details were published on the National Security strategy draft of the Serbian Ministry of Defense. The debate for this started this Friday and will continue until May 15th.
The full text, according to Serbian newspaper “Blic”, will be presented in roundtables and expert-level discussions, which will be held in Belgrade, Novi Sad and Nish.
Kosovo press considers the fact that both strategies will be approved right when Alexandar Vucic will be offering his solution for Kosovo.
As warned, this could happen by the end of April.
The Director of the Serbian Office for Kosovo, Marko Djuric, appealed Serbs in Kosovo to not become part of the Kosovo army. He underlined that based on the Serbian law, illegal armed formation could give them 10 year prison sentences.
