After staying one year away from Albania, Albert Veliu, known as Babale, will be extradited from Belgium.
His extradition request has not been accepted by the Belgian authorities, and he will soon be extradited.
The news was made public by the Prosecutor of his matter, who asked the Court to take formal information regarding the procedures so that the process could be postponed for another date.
Albert Veliu left the country after publishing an audio recording, in which the DP declared that Veliu was speaking to the brother of the former Interior Minister, Fatmir Xhafa.
But Fredi Alizoto, another person involved in this story, has accused Ervin Salianji, a former MP of the Democratic Party, of offering him money to involve the brother of the former Minister in this matter.
