The Belgian Deputy Prime Minister and also Minister of Foreign Affairs,
was received today by the Albanian Prime Minister, Edi Rama, who
underlined the will of the Albanian government to continue with the
reforms, by focusing on the judiciary reform.
The Belgian Deputy Prime Minister expressed his appreciation for the progress of the reforms in Albania and guaranteed that Belgium will keep supporting Albania’s EU integration process in the next phases.
The Minister of Foreign Affairs of Belgium visited the Democratic Party headquarters, where he met with the opposition leader, Lulzim Basha.
Basha expressed his concern about a lack of will by the majority for the progress of the decriminalization process, an act that was reached through the intermediation of the European partners.
“The postponement is putting the agreement in danger”, Basha declared.
