Baton Haxhiu, one of those who support Hashim Thaci’s idea for correcting Kosovo’s border with Serbia, declared today on Top Channel’s “Top Talk”, hosted by Denis Dyrnjaja, that the EU has used doubled standards for Kosovo, Albania, Macedonia and Serbia.
“There was an agreement with the intermediation of the EU, but then other things happened. Serbia removed the law for prosecuting their own war criminals, and yet EU started the accession negotiations with them. Serbia didn’t put sanctions to Russia, keeps buying guns from them, but Albania and Macedonia couldn’t have the negotiations started”, Haxhiu said.
He added that the real interest of Serbia is not Northern Kosovo, but the creation of a precedent to be used in Bosnia Herzegovina’s Serbian Republic.
