Commemorating the protests of April 2nd 1991, where four martyrs of democracy lost their lives, the Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, said that what started in Kukes will not stop until the tyranny of crime will be brought down.

“This is the month when Edi Rama’s mask is off and Albanians can see the final acts of a robber who despises his own people and laughs at them. I tell him from Shkoder that his calculations are wrong. What started in Kukes will not stop until the tyranny of crime is brought down. The citizens of Kukes gave them the deserved response. It was the reaction of people who cannot accept anymore taxes and violence from Edi Rama and a small group of people who work for him. I promise that they will be held accountable, from the Prime Minister to the smallest employee of the public administration. We will liberate the economy”, Basha said.

For the opposition leader, half of the government is full of cocaine and collaborates with criminal groups.

“They have built a system of a structured criminal group, with oligarchs as politicians, criminals who have captured the economy and all of Albania. If this criminal system is not dismantled, Albania will be doomed. The Albanian economy is being killed by drugs, corruptive concessions and theft of natural assets. There is no economic perspective in this country”, Basha declared.
