Basha: We achieved a legal victory

Basha underlined that he had achieved a legal and deserved victory.

Basha declared that same as during the campaign, the voice of the people will be heard even in the Municipality.

“The legal joy that we are all experiencing today is an open and deserved joy. It is a legal joy, because we achieved a legal victory, which is the direct expression of Tirana’s citizens will, who believed in the majority and our program. They believed in our project for the European Tirana, and most of all, in our seriousness for putting in life the great change that our Tirana has been waiting for a long time. This joy has traveled with us during the campaign. It was an inner joy, because we had started a sincere battle for what is best for our city. Tirana called us to remove it from the crossroad of conflictual politics where it had been staying for so long”, Basha declared.

“I have heard your desires with passion, and as Tirana’s next Mayor, I will start this work with passion and I will listen to your voices. The citizens had more power than ever in these elections, and will continue to have it even in the Municipality. I want to thank again the Democratic Party leader, Sali Berisha, all Democratic Party leaders, every Parliament Member and party members. I want to thank the Albanian justice that gave to its citizens a righteous victory”, Basha declared.
