The opposition leader, Lulzim Basha, said that the Vetting Law is a
pretext used by Edi Rama to justify what he called “his failure”. He
also gave a solution for this law, which avoids the Constitutional
Court.
“The Democratic Party and I are ready to amend the law without waiting for the Constitutional Court, which says that the Vetting Law should be done by the Parliament. But Edi Rama wants to do it on his own. He has Vetting as a pretext to cover his own failure. The solution is simple, and can be done from this moment, by respecting the Constitution, with consensus”, the DP leader declared for the media.
Basha said that the government is creating imaginary friends in the West to avoid the bad situation with crime and drug in the country.
The reaction of the Democratic Party leader came after PM Rama returned from Germany, where he met with Chancellor Angela Merkel.
