Basha: “This government failed with education”

Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, spoke in front of protesters
today that Albanian teachers do not have support from the state, and
that the budget of this government is regressive.
“The education is suffering the government corruption. Salaries have not been raised, not even as much as inflation”, Basha said before presenting two main pillars of the Democratic Party program for education.
“Use European parameters for the time children spend in schools. After school children will have the conditions to eat lunch at school and take care of various activities. For this we need investments and we will start from the very first month. The second pillar is that we double salaries once again”, Basha said.
