The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, left to be understood that
the German Foreign Minister had been influenced by the Albanian
Socialist Party for his speech. For this reason, he mentioned today
Socialist Taulant Balla, who leads that Albania-Germany friendship
group.
“No matter what words people repeat from Taulant, and regardless of in what language, there will only be free and fair elections in Albania, and it can be guaranteed only by a technical government”, Basha said.
This Tuesday there were no negotiations between the Socialists and Democrats, but the opposition leader said that Edi Rama doesn’t want a technical government because he doesn’t have a platform, a team or a leadership.
“It is very simple to you. You have everything. Even Ilir Meta said he will be with you. Resign from your post so that Albanians can have free and fair elections. The truth is that he has tied his political fate with drugs, crime and billions of corruptions, all this with a group of oligarchs”, he added.
On the 60th day of protest, the opposition is still standing to their condition for the elections: “I want to hear it from you. Do you want us to withdraw? We will not withdraw. Technical government, an irreversible condition for free and fair elections”, the DP leader said.
