The Democratic Party MP, Lulzim Basha, said from the tent in front of
the Prime Minister’s Office that the protest will continue until free
and fair elections are guaranteed.
Basha thanked the young protesters for their determination, and said that Albania will never be what it has been so far.
“It will change radically. We will not allow a Parliament of bargains, with corruption hiding behind it. We will not accept a rotten republic”, Basha said.
He underlined that the technical government is just the first station of this movement from the opposition.
“Together we are laying the foundations of another Albania, another republic that will have nothing similar to the one that we will overthrow, the republic of drugs and corruption, where a group of oligarchs try to take the entire power”, Basha said.
He accused this group of oligarchs that they are preparing to steal the next elections and turn every free citizen into a slave.
“We are determined to overthrow this corrupted government. We will not back off until we have won. We have an European model, and you should not ask less than this model. The Albania that is coming belongs to you, it is up to you. Nothing will be like before”, Basha told youth.
