Basha: Tahiri’s SMS, indicator of crime

15/04/2014 00:00

The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, spoke about the cell phone
message of the Interior Minister, Saimir Tahiri, rejecting the theories
of spying. Basha declared that spying is not part of the Democratic
Party strategy.

“The opposition has not taken this message through spying. The opposition does not spy and will not spy anyone, because spying is excluded as a principle. But the message that Rama sent to Tahiri, or vice-versa, means that both of them know about the dim situation of crime, but try to present it with brighter colors”, Basha declared.

The opposition leader underlined the accusations made by the Democratic Party regarding an involvement of the Armed Forces in drug traffic. Basha appealed the government to explain the position of the Armed Forces as soon as possible, and considered this as an obligation to the citizens and allies.

“We  have made public a report for the usage of the army for drug traffic. We appeal the Minister of Defense to answer, but her silence shows the real situation. Mrs.Kodheli is in a difficult position, but she is obliged to answer to the citizens and NATO. We appeal to Rama and Kodheli to tell if they are aware of the usage of the Armed Forces structures for the transportation of narcotics. Due to this importance, the problem needs to be treated urgently”, Basha declared.

Basha attacked the Rama-Meta duo, who, according to him, are using dictatorship against the administration by causing even tragedies in the citizens’ life.

“One woman from Korca, Brunilda Meta, ended her life after she became a victim of the Rama-Meta duo in the public administration, as the last guillotine in the Democratic Europe. The Rama-Meta government are hitting mercilessly the dignity of people with political reprisals and by placing their guardians everywhere. They replace men and women with militants. They replace professional people with people with criminal records”, Basha declared.
