The Democratic Party leader, Lulzim Basha, greeted the voting of the
decriminalization law yesterday in parliament and said that the DP is
ready to implement the package, but he was skeptical about their
adversaries.
Basha said that people with former convictions are leading the Socialist Party in many cities, and this phenomenon, according to Basha, is spreading throughout the country.
Basha said that the decriminalization law is fruit of the work done by the opposition, with the support of citizens and the US, who, according to Basha, forced Rama to accept it.
Basha reiterated that the peaceful protests will continue until the Rama government is removed.
